Katy Haines : Top 5 Things to do in London

1. HIRE A BIKE AND GO SIGHTSEEING
London is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and there is no better way to see it than using the Barclays bike hire system. It's £2 a day, the bike docking stations are placed really conveniently all over London and you can get in some exercise!

2. VISIT DUCK AND WAFFLE
Not only do you get to experience a "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory" moment when you go up in a glass elevator looking over the whole of London, you get to sit, eat great food and often celeb spot! Sam Faiers, Nicole Scherzinger and Vanessa from the Saturdays, to name a few, have all paid a visit.

3. MAKE JEWELLERY

The London Jewellery School offer 1 and 2 day classes to learn something completely new. They offer classes in silver jewellery, beading and even knitting! You can even make your own wedding rings there - how cool is that!

4. WATCH A MOVIE: 2 WAYS
This is technically 2 separate things to do in London, but they are quite similar so I'm just bundling them together. First up is catching a film at Odeon Cinemas. Not only can you relax in huge leather reclining seats, but you can wine and dine a 3 course meal with waiter service while you're there too. The second way is to join the RoofTop Film Club. There are 3 locations to pick from and throughout the whole of Summer where you can watch golden oldies and new released films with a bunch of like minded people, eat fresh popcorn and sit on huge bean bags and blankets!

5. GET LOST ON OXFORD STREET

A bit of a cliche option, but it's too good not to do! Shop til' you drop, get your haircut at Rush, listen to buskers and give them some odd change if you're feeling generous. At Christmas time you should definitely go out for dinner and wine, then jump into a bike & carriage (or Horse and Carriage if you can afford it!), lie back with your best girlfriends/boyfriend and look out at all the amazing lights while you're whizzed down the street.
