Festival Style Stars 2014

We love nothing more than snooping through the world of celebrity instagrams to steal some style inspiration – maybe even more so during festival season; we might not be able to copy their flawless red carpet looks but we can definitely take notes from their laid-back festival outfits! This year we’ve been keeping a close eye on a few style queens in particular and we’ve compiled a list of our ten favourites. One things for certain, this year the ‘festival style’ rule book from the Kate Moss era has been tossed out the window – it’s all about colour, crazy prints and unusual textures. We can’t work out who outranks who in the festival style stakes, so in no particular order, these are the women who dominated the 2014 festival scene.

Lily Allen
Pink and purple hair by Bleach London mixed with fun prints, bright colours and plenty of crazy nail art. Her Glastonbury wardrobe, where she filmed her new music video, was full of statement pieces we wouldn’t mind borrowing…

Ella Eyre
Taking festival season by storm, Ella was spotted in cute crop tops, sparkly jumpsuits and show-stopping jackets always with an urban edge. We can’t wait to see what else this one has in her wardrobe!

Alexa Chung
The ultimate indie queen – Alexa did not disappoint at Glastonbury! Instead of opting for the usual vest/denim shorts combo, Alexa was seen sporting a slinky metallic cami dress with a sweater and her trademark tousled hair.
<Ellie Goulding
Not afraid to show off her amazing figure, Ellie’s been wearing bodycon styles and bralet tops all Summer. We love how she clashes her sporty basics with this season’s palm print.

Millie MacIntosh
Proving that you can add a touch of luxe to your festival style, We can’t get enough of Millie’s cute embellished shorts with gladiator sandals combination from Lovebox!

Fearne Cotton
Showing us how to layer up when the temperatures drop – Fearne added a colour blocked fur scarf over her embroidered denim jacket. Also her hair looks flawless – we can only assume she’s stocked up on dry shampoo!
Daisy Lowe
An ultimate Brit-style icon, Daisy always gets into the festival spirit. Her look was super girly – loose bunches with a monochrome skirt and top and the obligatory wellington boots.

Laura Whitmore
Presenter and fashion icon, Laura wowed at Wireless in a colourful digital print crop top with tie dye denim cut-offs.

Spotted here with Pharrell, Foxes was never far from the festival style reports this year. From custom made Topshop two-pieces to this cute 90s inspired look, she finished off every outfit with her trademark thick eyeliner.

Jourdan Dunn
Being every bit the flawless off-duty model – Jourdan looks stylish and relaxed in her baggy t-shirt with denim shorts ensemble. We’re already practicing her effortless bandana styling!

The festival season isn’t over yet – we’ve still got Bestival, Leeds, Reading, V festival and Creamfields to go.
